kom emperor, not bad for stock AK to have 450fps....its normal that fps fluctuates, that is because of your spring performance.....but as long as it kicks at 400++ fps, its still ok...... biggrin.gif wait until your spring settles.....then that is the time you may wish to upgarde your ak.... laugh.gif

your current fps should be good enough for field play. a bit too high for CQB. bottomline is, ano ba limits sa pinaglalaruan mo.

springs with M/SP prefixes indicates m/s rating. to get fps, multiply M/SP number by 3.28.

PDI uses a rating stated in % of stock marui spring.

all ratings are ideal, of course, so ung makukuha mo eh puedeng mas mababa o mas mataas sa ideal. depende 'yan sa setup at optimization ng ibang components.

Like i said before Cyma makes ak's with very high fps otb. smile.gif Seen most of them like that. Matter of fact i had to detune 1 at OP irene because it just won't pass the regulated velocity limit. smile.gif

No need to upgrade with it i would say for the moment. Shimming job though is a +.

komrads, i saw a thread po in filairsoft.com, about cyma etc. guns, and according to them, springs lang daw po and battery ang kailangan palitan. would that do? makakaya ba ng stock piston body ang li-poly batteries?

kaya kung stock spring pa rin, but rapid ang pagkasira nya. best to have a piston with all metal teeth para sigurado.

to optimize longetivity ng piston, whether stock or upgraded, make sure na maganda AOE (angle of engagement) ng mga contact surfaces ng unang ngipin ng sector gear at piston. after that, you may have to shave part of, or all, the 2nd tooth and also part of the the 3rd tooth of the piston.
