Hi Comrades...
Was pleased to have my new Element PBS-1 silencer arrive last week, so did a mini review on video and my blog, if you are interested. The PBS-1 cost me $53usd (inc. shipping) from Ebaybanned.com - and is available at several other Hong Kong retailers. ![]() In brief this is a superb bit of kit - all be it a dummy non-functioning one. The build quality is excellent, though the steel makes it very heavy. But there is also an aluminum version available by the same company. Funnily enough they are exactly the same price from RSOV and other Hong Kong suppliers! (I like the solid weight of steel though - it's a matter of taste.) Here's the link to my video review: The Element PBS-1 steel silencer - Milgeek 60 Second Review Here's slightly more detail and my rating on my blog: Element all steel PSB-1 suppressor review My rating was: > Quality & finish: 4.5 / 5 > Authentisity: 4 / 5 > Functionality: 3 / 5 > Value for money: 4 / 5 > Coolness factor: 4.5 / 5 ![]() UPDATE NOTE: Since I originally tried out my PBS- I have had some feedback from another user suggesting that there may be a problem with continuous firing through this silencer (BBs failing to pass through correctly). I will be trialling the PBS-1 for a longer period this weekend and so will be able to confirm or deny this. At this point I will release an updated field report. Hope you find this helpful. |

Both my PBS1(Steel/Element Brand) and PBS4(Aluminum/Non-Element Brand) experienced same if hop set incorrectly. Nice review komrad Milgeek.

Thanks alakdan! I had my suspicions that it might be a hop-up issue, but without testing it myself in differing hop-up settings I didn't know for sure. I may have just been lucky and had mu hop-up set at just the right setting when I tried it out the first time (just a few shots though). I wasn't too worried, as luckily you can unscrew the end cap of the PBS-1 and replace it with a modified cap with larger hole if needs be. But that would be a pity as teh cap is very distinctive and looks really cool. Cheers for the kind comments Comrade! |
