Hello Komrads

I'd like to ask for a bit of your advice. I've been wanting to build a variation of the 'Vityaz' below for quite some time now:

Her name will be 'Fluffy' (see my sig)

So when I recently read komrad vityaz's project - Vityaz's Vityaz smile.gif, I got inspired to get off my lazy (and penniless) arse to finally make my dream AK a reality. But I need a bit of help to find the best, easiest, and most cost-effective way to do it. =]

Would it be best to buy a KLS Vityaz as a base, and switch out the solid black stock for a triangle skeleton stock? Then buy the butt pad and AK74u black mags? My only concern is if the skeleton stock will fit. From which local seller can I get one? Afterwards it'll only be a question of finding the right flash hider, slapping on a Kobra replica, and figuring out how to attach that laser...

Cheers in advance, any help you can give will be most appreciated. I will also use this thread to chronicle my progress smile.gif Wish me luck!

yes, a KLS/Dboys AKS74 stock will fit.. the problem is finding a shop who sells KLS aftermarket parts... laugh.gif

you also need a "vityaz" pistol grip tongue.gif

Yes, funny you should mention that... While scoping out local sellers without any luck, I figured since I was planning a KLS RK-02 in the future for a field gun, it might make a lot of sense if held off on the buttstock upgrade till I bought an RK-02, then switched the butts. Are the hinge points similar and the stocks interchangeable? If they are this might be the best way to do it

And you're right komrad, I'm not following the Inokatsu completely, but I'm definitely going for a pistol grip upgrade =]

base sa mga pics, mukha ngang interchangeable ung hinge and lock ng RK 12 at RK 02. malaki tsansa nyan dahil preho manufacturer nila. makes sense from a production efficiency point of view.

Greetings Komrads

Just a little update... I found a skeleton stock:

According to the seller it's a DBoys brand stock, will this fit the Kalash 'Vityaz' receiver?

It's worth about 1k =]

Komrads, nadelay project ko.

The brakes of my car gave way. Noticed that they were softer than usual, had the driver check them out. Brought em to the shop and it turns out that the master brake/clutch assembly is totally kaput. Spent the better part of the weekend searching everywhere for replacements for these damn!@#%^ tiny rubber seals (the only part that was cracked).

Long story short, ended up paying 11k for a new master assembly, stupid Ford doesn't sell just the rubber seals for the Explorer, dapat whole thing ang papalitan. Srsly.

There goes my project money sad.gif

This week definitely. Sana. filakairsoft/bye2.gif

so true!

today i was in the shop, money in hand, and i was looking at the kls vityas...

sad to say i was disappointed sad.gif the handguards were loose, the bolt cover's spring flew out when i opened the upper receiver cover, and the finish - the powdercoat - it wasn't that nice at all. plus it had me worrying, when i finally switch out the butts, it wont match the body right? the butt has the blued steel look and the body is powdercoated.

i definitely need to reconsider my plan.

i left the store empty-handed.
