For me, I have three reasons:

1. Simple pero rock!!!
2. 600 rd mag!!!
3. May equivalent ba ang filAK na filM4?

Kayo mga kom? ano sa tingin nyo?

1.) AK Disassembly procedure better than M4.
2.) AK is ver3 while M4 is ver2.
3.) The motor cage of AK is better than M4.
4.) Better Hop up mech design than M4.

but generally why m4 isn't better than AK is because...

IT'S NOT AN AK

even in real world...m4 is not an AK

in airsoft m4 has so many problems (hop up, misfeeds, more frequent GB cracks, range)

not to mention bullet jams in RS

if you want a gun that won't fail you, get a kalashnikov

M4/M16 using with this magazine, the ugliest gun(aeg) i ever seen!

Sensya na mga komrad kung hinukay ko ulit itong dead thread. Pero I just want to share my 2-cents.

Sa akin kasi, ang advantage lang ng non-AK/m16 is madaming attachments na pwede ikabit. At dahil dun, mas marketable siya; alam ng mga manufacturers yun, kaya madami silang naimbento na ikakabit. Which is OK lang, kung yun ang gusto ng mga tao.

Ang appeal naman ng AK, simple and effective. Although in my case, nandun lagi yung temptation na kabitan ng abubot yung airsoft ko, due to the built-in rails. Actually, nung una dumating sa akin yung beng-beng ko, iniisip ko kung lagyan ko ng reflex sight, kasi medyo hindi ako sanay gumamit ng iron sights gaya ng sa AK (pag may ghost ring/diopter, ok lang though, duling siguro ako!?! ). Nung nag-skirmish ako, na-realize ko na ok lang pala kahit iron sights, kailangan ko lang ng trigger time para masanay.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the non-AK/M16; ok din siya gamitin. As a matter of fact, dahil dun sa mag issues ko, hiniram ko muna yung non-AK ng kuya ko nung naglaro kami (ginamit niya EBR the whole day, kaya masakit balikat niya ngayon ). And, right now, iniisip ko kung kukuha ako ng non-AK-variant as a secondary AEG; main factor for that decision, pwede kaming mag-share ng mags ng kapatid ko sa field.

Hehe, medyo nakakalito lang, pero ang simple resolution ko lang kasi ay ito: I love guns, and I love them all, from the Flintlock pistol to the SCAR-H CQC.
