Komrads, based on your experiences with models preceding the CM048, do you think it's safe to put sp140 or higher spring in the CM048 without changing any other parts but with re-shimming and re-greasing the gearbox?
The goal is to get the maximum FPS out of the gun without compromising durability (at least not too much decrease in durability).
Any of your suggestions/comments are welcome and will be deeply appreciated.
By the way, the CM048 gearbox has the mark "CM02B". Is this a new version gearbox or an old one?
TIA!

No. You need to replace your gears to stu, piston body, preferably titanum deepfire for long term reliability and battery to at least 9.6 v. Stock parts can not crank sp140.

How about SP130 komrad? Kaya ba ng stock internals?
Or yung techpro 190? I read somewhere na kaya sya ng stock internals and friendly sya sa gearbox.

techpro 190% is okay. sp130, you need to change your gearset and some internals, kasi hindi makaya ng internals masyado.

komrad,
sp130 pwede at kaya pa ng stock internals wag lang sp140 and you need to replace what komrad Aries said.

Stock gears can crank Techpro 190, sp130, and pdi 190, but it would be difficult for your stock battery to do so. Try to install a mosfet first for you to make use of your stock batteries. This may give you around 12 rps with an fps of around 460 to 500. Sayang naman kasi 'yung stock battery mo, then later on if you want to increase your rof to around 20 to 25, you may upgrade your battery to 11.1, 15 c, and 1600 or 2100 ma lipoly or lithium ion batteries, while having your stock battery just as a back up.

Salamat Komrads!

if youre going to replace your spring with a stiffer one, then dont rely on the stock battery...
replace it along with the spring upgrade...
