Not going to make a full review to say again what is common in all the DBOYS receiver ... we are get used to now ...So:

Receiver and cover is grainy and steel made
the inside ( under the cover is classical like all the VFC )
all the folding stock ( is thin and no wobble ) and its blocking system is STEEL
Ugly handguard in fruit cage quality , some missing paintings
pistol grip is a VFC inspired tone













and from Felix Industries in Romania , a rare ( as usual ) custom Romanian AKMS

Well , I said many years before , that the Airsoft maker will one day imitate the RS model so i bought all the HG i found since the beginning of the years 2000 and have sold some of them to some wellknown French AK users

Using for example , the Polish RS HG is nice and strong as well , so that teh folding stock will not damage the HG like with "laminated ACM , INO, VFC, G&G.. HG )

is the downfolding stock sturdy enough when extracted?

of all ak variants with folding stock this is the one i really like.
my cm-028s (ak47s) has one annoying wobbly very weak folding stock hehe even tm ak47s is very problematic on that part.

Yes it is sturdy , steel made from the locking button until the shoulder stock , no wooble like the "S" folding stok on the 47S

I am just back from my first game with this BOYI AKMS , so not desappointed at all, i have changed the original spring ( powerfull) by an ELEMENT ST 105 chronoed with O,20g at 350 FPS +/- 5 , it would then be nice if the ST 100 could exist ...
Hop up is has a correct work , so let s try again before being confident with this purchase
