Just worked on Komrad Anubis' rk-12 last week hehe...

Upgrades are...
- shimming
- 7mm techpro metal bushing
- air seal nozzle (forgot the brand but it's an m4 asn)
- madbull hop rubber black
- scs
- sealed all leaks ....hop up very leaky as well the cylinder head
- some few tweaks on the wobbly upper front cover and folding skeletal stock

OOTB chronoed at around 360-370 fps....
after working on it finally got a nice 440 fps (zero hop, chrono - Big Dragon E9600 Neon Chronometer) still using the stock spring hehe.

I always presume na leaky yung hop up pag ang daling tanggalin
yung barrel along the hop rubber sa hop up assy.
pero nung madbull hop rubber na nilagay ko ayun
medyo sumikip na pero tapal pa rin para silyado tlga hopefully
yung area na yun.

May pinakita sa akin dito ng MAS Davao...

take off the mag, pero dapat meron BB's sa chamber, mga 3 to 4 bb's dapat

then fire the gun, pag grabe nagtalunan ang BB's eh meron leak..

pag slight lang tumalon ang BB's due to vibration eh malamang walang leak...

hindi talaga yan accurate kung meron slight leak or wala.. bale pag nagkaganyan sobra talaga ang leak sa hop up heheheh...

Just upgraded my rk 12 with ca 301 mm, 6.04 id barrel, techpro 190, deepfire cylinder head, hop-up rubber, element piston body and piston head. I'm not sure about the fps, but it can easily penetrate the bottom center and inner side of an emty coke in can. It was also able to penerate the two sides of the coke in can at four meters. I haven't tested it beyond that distance. I surmise that the fps of my rk 12 ranges between 460 to 480. I'll have it chronoed soon.

well for me the best way to know leaks is to chrono it.
yung itaob ang beng para sa mag at misfeed check tlga yun not for
checking leaks afaic hehe.

to check further kung may leaks sa upper portion ng hop assy eh simply
place a tissue paper there. if it flew once the gun fires there's a leak there.
same technique applied on the hop up bb chamber. remove the mag, flip the gun over,
place the tissue hopefully a bb is chambered and fire and if tissue paper
goes up then there's some leak's and this time it's more complicated.
if tissue paper doesn't move at all during dry fire then all compressed air goes through the barrel no leaks on that area and good nozzle to hop lip engagement.

listening to your aeg will also tell if there's leaks hehe.
a well sealed aeg fires with some slight recoil and the sound is kinda bassy hehe if you
listen to it without any flashider or amplifiers types of muzzles as in the inner barrel is totally expose at the tip of gun.
when it's leaky it sounds kinda high pitch and you can feel the piston head smacking
way harder to the cylinder head.

last time before a complete maintenance, i noticed a higher pitch firing sound, my piston head hits the cylinder head so fast i immediately concluded my piston body has a tooth problem or a potential leak or my piston head O-ring is busted...

chrono check and 490 to 500 fps na lang from 525 fps

and then i checked my gun, my o-ring was busted probably destroyed by my gear gears, ive put quite a lot of grease it found its way to the cylinder hahahahah

replaced my o-ring and fired my gun... woowoop! finally heard a perfect sound for a sp140 spring

lesson learned here... put only a small amount of gear grease, just enough to lubricate your gears.. heheheh
