i am a new airsoft player and this is my first gun.
i dont have knowledge when it comes to guns modifying.
im using the stock version no upgrade have made.

i just want to ask if this gun is good and what is needed.
and also i want to ask the FPS of this.and RPS in Stock version.

for now i dont have plan to upgrade this because lack of funds.
maybe i will buy only battery.
thats why i need some of your advice.

Hi hope i am able to help .
As i am from South africa our rules are different to yes Filo land ect .So our aeg's may only shoot at a FPS lower than 400 fps. I own the RK02 which is the same as a RK03.

As a stock aeg and shooting under 400fps your aeg is fine.the following things you need to do ,Replace the Hop up rubber, I use the Mad bull Blue 60 degree this is a must and the very first thing to change Kalash hopup rubbers are very bad. Also a very good BB i use Echo1 .28g and G&G .28g worth the extra money.

Part you can get

Better mag brandMAG MID-CAPS ( better feeding)
Also get your self the SCS nubbin. (better accuracy)
I good charger and a 9.6v 1500 battry(Firefox ) for stock AEG's (better cycle speed)
if you want the spring with a PDI150 that will give you a 395fps more (constant fps better accuracy)
if you are going to shoot over 400 get metal bush's smoother gears (better performances)
Once the aeg gearbox is is open then degrease and regreace all parts .

But the other comrades on the forum, they do extreme upgrades and they can give to the best advise

is there any harm with it?

because my friends tells me not to shoot it in single fire.
any advice regarding with this issue?

I play mostly Semi so there is no problem to shoot in it , but use a fully charged battry and make sure you pull the trigger thru if you do not the gearbox will lock up. I would also advise as i said to get a better battry and 9.6v or 7,4v lipo both are equal to each other.

my RK02 stock fps is 380 and it shoots i think close to 800 rounds per minute

as much as possible, avoid shooting in single mode... short bursts will do.. the switch assembly suffers a lot from electric arcing because of its repeated contact.. in the long run the switch will wear out..

if you want to use a lipoly battery, you need to optimize the gun first.. put in a 7mm metal bushings, re-shim it, adjust the piston and sector gear area of engagement, lube the gears and some parts and more...

as for the barrel, clean it.. theres a guide somewhere here on how to clean your barrel... the stock barrel is soooo dirty... i advise cleaning ASAP

as for maintenance, well i do it usually after 8 games... i field strip the gun, clean every part and take apart the barrel and the gearbox.. relube, check shims gears bushings and bearings and spring...

dont reuse your bb's... its bad.. very bad

it got be damaged, dirty, or out of shape already and not seen by the naked eye.. it could ruin your hop up rubber and may scratch your inner barrel from the inside
