meron ako d2 kaso mga russkie titles ... yun isa na ID ko na title is "the Star" (about ww2 russian scouts infiltrating German occupied territories) ...

another title naman is Spetnaz (cant understand kse wala english subs) eto the best ang get-up and features afghan mujahideen and my fave sniper rifle the vintorez.

and other russian titled war movies in w/c i cnt trnslate in english.

Yes Komrade Komisar Zen Taurus, the Russian movie "War" and the Romanian movie "The Paper Will Be Blue" are available on p*****d (imported) DVD sa mga wholesalers sa Quiapo area. Check-out the DVD shops near Jollibee Hidalgo (yung opposite Quiapo Church side), I was looking for a copy of "The 9th Company" duon but came across these titles, meron other Russian war movies in titles I can't read (Cyrillic writings kasi and Russian/Chinese ang subtitles pa). Hope you find the shops before ma-raid eto ng OMB.

Additional info sa dalawang hard to find European films na 'to wherein the AK47/74 is used:

"War" (international release name) aka "Voyna" was directed by Aleksei Balabanov

"The Paper Will Be Blue" was directed by Radu Muntean


Also try looking for these Hollywood films kung saan gamit ng bida ang AK47 as featured mismo sa movie poster:

"The Park Is Mine" directed by Steve Hilliard Stern in 1986 and stars Tommy Lee Jones

"September Tapes" directed by Christian Johnston and stars George Calil

ito ba yung simula ng scene sa afghanistan sila, mga naka afghan gears ang mga spetsnaz? this is a TV series. meron din ako nito pero hindi ko pa napapanood, hehe!

at may mga russian airborne troops(or VDV) din sa movie na ito. ganda din.

* i'm note really sure if the russian unit in this movie is VDV or SpetsnazGRU wearing VDV uniforms.
