Good Day ö Komrads

Fellow AK Bros. & Sis. I am new to the sport and decided to go AK.
As of the moment I am satisfied with this unit. Even though I intend to
get some upgrades I decided not to touch the internals unless something
goes wrong.

I just want to AsK if using a 9.6v (8.4v stock) battery would damage the
unit. I tried to look for answers elsewhere but failed to find a reliable
answer.

any suggestions, comments or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

thank you and have a nice day all

Good Day Komrad Alakdan

Sorry, I forgot to write it in the post. The unit is Cyma CM047D.
I just want to know if the 9.6v NiMh stick type battery would damage the internals gears, motors etc. the stock battery is 8.4 same type just different voltage.

I am also planning to buy internal upgrade parts and would be really thankful
for any suggestions btw this is the store easily accessible to my location
airsoft.ch

Thank you very much

using a 9.6v NiMh stick type battery is safe... just avoid very long burst.. laugh.gif

the following is a basic upgrade..

1. metal bushings (if the gun already has metal bushings then no need to replace it)
2. re-shim
3. re-lube
4. hop up rubber replacement (i always replace the stock one laugh.gif )
5. SCS nub
6. recheck gear alignment and area of engagement of piston and sector gear

for spring upgrade... hmmm what country are you from? biggrin.gif

Thank you so much
This are some of the things I listed for the unit CM047D
not final yet need to look for more options ö

1. Metal bushings (CA 7mm or 6mm not sure yet ö)
2. Shims (Prometheus Shim Set)
3. Gear Grease (Systema)
4. Hop Up (G&G cold resistant hop up)
5. SCS nub (Might be included with the Hop up set)

now the spring is kinda tricky (tricky = absolutely no idea)
maybe I need to research more about it before
buying a replacement SPRING

About the barrel and motor maybe ill go stock until I found a replacement

Thank you again Komrads for the tips and all
btw as of the moment I am in Switzerland
only a few airsoft shops here so we often go online, unless its an emergency tongue.gif

Please any comments - suggestions - opinions would mean a lot
really a greeny here and
very eager to learn and live the AK life ö

wah... cold weather.. you really need that cold resistant hop rubber happy.gif

as for the motor, leave it stock as much as you can.. unless the stock motor is bad

for the barrel, if you want tighter groupings and better accuracy you can change it to a tightbore.. BTW the stock barrel has a length of 500mm.. its a custom length so i bought a custom made inner barrel from EDGI laugh.gif

as for the spring, i think your gun might be shooting in excess of 400fps.. may i know the velocity limit in you country...

i think the gun uses a 7mm bushings.. CA is cheap and good.. very good

Good day Komrads

Stock Motor no complains at the moment ö

About the Barrel
this is the only one they have in the shop
Madbull 6.03 Barrel 455mm AK47
hehe is that too short ö
they have a longer one but it says M16
Madbull 6.03 Barrel 509mm M16 ?

On FPS there is no specific limit mentioned on the gun laws atm so its still open
at the gamesite (field) we just maintain a safe distance and try to go semi if its a bit close.

We also play with Undead Operators that is why having a high fps unit won't hurt. hehe ( no intention to hurt anyone though )

Thank you so much for all the guidance ö

a 455mm i think is too long for an ak105 laugh.gif

avoid madbull barrels... its good when its new, but when the teflon coating starts to peel off it gets very annoying..

deepfire, prometheus, guarder TN are good brands of barrels..

madbull is cheaper but trouble starts when the barrel teflon coating starts to peel off
