By looks of it your top cover has lifted high enough that its no longer coverign the hole that the pin and spring go into at all (thus pin can go on some spring assisted travels accross the room).

It could be bent, could be too short or that bit o plastic you found might attach to the end of it to increase its length. As Ive never handled the cyma version I couldnt say for sure.

BUT most likely rather than any of those the hinge pin that holds top receiver cover to the front trunnion (as per circled bit in photo below) has just slipped out slightly - alowing one side of the top receiver cover to float further than it should

If so its an easy fix

pop the spring in followed by the pin into their channel

push them back just far enough they can clear that littlenotch of metal in first photo above

then while holding them there, ease the cover down enough at front so the nub of metal covers the edge of the pin.

Then make sure the hinge pin is passing thru both sides of the top cover and isnt allowing one side to missaling with its hole

tingin ko eh the problem arises if you are not used to the way the Krinkov locks the upper handguard. may tendency kasi na pwersahin kahit hindi pa nakalapat ung handguard.

another possible fix is to take out the spring altogether and, maybe lengthen the pin. this is how the guarder works. still have to check kung paano ba ung RS para may reference tayo.

for those who are expeiencing problems tuning the hopup:

subukan nyo na isagad sa kaliwa ung hop adjustment tab, then adjust konti -- by about 1mm pakanan.

may report kasi na zero hop (this means sagad talaga sa kaliwa ung adjustment) aktuali imparts a little hop. this happens kahit na .25 na bb and ginagamit.

para dun sa mga mahilig magbutingting:

subukan ninyong lagyan ng tape o di kaya eh dikitan ng konting glue o epoxy ung kaliwang gilid ng plastik adjustment tab.

sabi ni komrad mig920 eh makapal daw ang labi ng bucking nung unit nya. puede ring isa ito sa dahilan ng bb misbehavior. in this case, either lihahim nyo konti ung labi ng bucking or palitan nyo na sya gaya ng ginawa ni kom mig

Regarding sa hop rubber oks lang makapal yun labi as long as malambot at hindi punit... kasi pag matigas/punit ang labi possible jam palagi ang BB at singaw baba fps..

now let say hindi gumagana yun hop mo try to dis-assemble your hop assembly then check kung andun at center yun maliit na rubber, try to adjust kung bumababa ng center at pantay..

better unahin mo pasok hop+barrel tapos tangalin mo yun slide adjuster ng hop to see yun maliit na rubber kung nasa proper place.. minsan kasi pagpasok ng hop+barrel natutulak yun papaloob at nawawala sa position.

mas rasonable ung method mo, kom hans. agree ako dyan. medyo mas makulit pero ung misaligned bucking nub talaga usually, AFAIK, ang ugat ng magwawalang bb.

ung matabang labi eh puede sigurong pagmulan ng misfee kung hindi maayos ang lagay ng bucking.

ung adjustment tab sa tabi, dala lang siguro un ng lousy QC o di kaya ay hindi maayos ng paginstall either ng user, sa paktori or sa plastik casting.

Pwede rin excess oil inside your barrel kaya nagwawala flight..

additional input lang mga komrad, tried comparing the stock hop and the guarder hop that i replaced, u'll see the difference in quality, anyway mura lang naman po yung guarder na hop rubber, and i even disassembled the hop assembly to see to it the aligned yung bucking at naka center sya. then put teflon to seal possible leak, so ok naman po yung field performace nya considering that i'm using a .25 bb that time, there was a situation that i have to adjust the hop during one of the skirmishes kasi pataas yun tapon ng bbs ko, haven't expreienced my bbs going left or right, adjusted the hop and everything worked fine.

salamat, komrad mig. so puede talagang nasa lever na nanggaling ang pataas na lipad ng bb. kelangan lang talaga siguro na maingat ang pagadyas ng hopup.

to fix the lose hinges...
aligned 1st the hinge pin...

Then get a cloth
cover it to the hinge to prevent scratch
and clamp it using pliers

edit: now i get what you mean dun sa position ng receiver cover ni kom rampage. my take is that baka napwersa into that position dahil (unless very sloppy talaga ang qc eh no way na pupunta sa ganyang posisyon ung cover sa umpisa.

medyo ipit talaga sa space ang krinkov kung sanay ka sa standard AK na tinatanggal nang buo ang cover. kelangan maingat ka sa paglagay ng batt at pagayos ng fuse o wiring dahil kung malakas ang pulso mo puedeng puede mong matabig ang cover -- resulta, baling receiver tab

sakli eto ung napansin kong problema ng magkaiba ang material ng rear sight assembly at ung trunnion. one or the other ang bibigay. preho 035 at kalash in this matter. mas delikado ang cyma dahil bakal talaga, iirc, and trunnion while alloy ung sa kalash.

plus mas matigas ung upper handguard rear retainer ng cyma. pag nabigla at medyo nakataas ung upper handguard eh delikado talagang merong bumali. sa kalash eh contributory factor ung maluwag and upper handguard nya. lalala pa eto pag nag shrink ung kahoy ng kalash dahil i doubt na pressure treated eto gaya ng high ends like vfc, guarder and inokatsu. so this means another plus over the long term for the cyma. kya lang, me wood version na rin ang cyma

isa pang source ng problema ung pin dahil tutoong bakal sya while, in the case of the kalash, eh zinc/aluminum alloy ung trunnion at tila plastic ung rear sight assembly so sa katagalan eh talagang luluwag ang pagka pin ng rear sight sa trunnion.

etong mga isyu na eto eh appropriate siguro sa isang comparative review ng cyma at kalash na gagawin ni kom vityaz. what sez you?

bakal ba ang hinges ng cyma?
parang aluminum eto...or alloy...
hindi dumikit ang magnet...

alloy din ung rear sight hinge ng cyma. baka nga mas mabuti pa diy na aluminum. will check out the sizes of available U channels in the market. should be easy to fab one.

the guarder way seems best -- stamped steel ung rear sight. steel din ung trunnion. naka pin ung tab ng rear sight na tumutulak sa upper handguard retaining bolt. so hindi na kailangan ng spring. wala na rin ung problema ng biglang igkas ng retainer cover.

for a long-term solution, sinagest ko kay kom todoink na putulan ung spring ng retainer bolt ng upper handguard para maiwasan sobrang igkas ng receiver cover.

Mga bai and komrads! need help, just bought mg first all metal ak yesterday, the problem is that paleft ang flight ng bb's hindi talaga naka zero with the sight. im not sure if the front site yung tabingi or yung barrel, tested the barrel on top sa glass table, hindi naman sumasayaw. tried the teflon technique sa hop pero ganun parin, i guess papalitan ko na nga yung hopp rubber, and yung hop bucking niya malambot. pero tried .25 bbs with it wild parin siya and sa left talaga.

Meaning hindi talaga nakazero with the sight, tried din taking out the flash hider, was thinking yan yung nagpapatabingi ng barrel, pero ganun parin. tinignan ko naman yung front sight if aligned siya with the barrel, mukhang aligned naman. sa 10 meters na target ang layo ng tama, mga 1 foot siguro form the target yung paling niya. sa tingin niyo mga komrads, lemon yung nakuha ko?

Nga pala i opened the gb na din. Metal bushings na siya pero hindi masyado lapat sa gb, was thinking of shaving it konti para lumapat. konti lang ayusin ganda naman yung internals. and one more thing hindi maganda pagka seal, especially sa oring ng piston head, palitan niya nalang for better performance.
