oohs that's a bummer for a very expensive svd...better add a full auto capability or remove that cut off lever and let a mosfet provide the semi fire.

And here's a simple solution for the pesky semi lock up bug or no current flow bug due to the cut off lever
putting the male contact point at an inclined position making the trigger not reaching it to make the gun fire.....the solution..... simply tap in the wires that are connected to the prongs.... basically making a secondary emergency switch to simply make the gun fire which will make the male contact point bump down back to it's working position.
hehe got it?
it can be modded to some sort of a hidden cheat switch since the gun will be firing at full auto once those wires for the main trigger switch are tapped hehe.
