My Review sa RK -02 after 10, 000 rounds in sp 160
Setup

Guarder infinite gears
Sp160
Metal piston head with bearing
V3 spring guide with bearing
Teflon coated type 0 cylinder
469 mm TN barrel
Guarder hop up bucking
(Hans gunsmith)

Well after 10,000 rounds the gun is still functioning flawlessly. Yung gearbox buo pa without any signs of wear from the outside ( wala pang visible sign of hairline cracks)
Every time you fire the gun you will feel the power of its gearbox, as it jolts back and forth( hindi naman ganun kalakas yung recoil pero if your selector is automatic its enough to put your selector in semi) and you will hear the distinct sound ng lagitik comming from the tn Barrel. (BTW music to my ears)

In comparison with a marui ( i had an TM AK-47S for 4 years)

Advantages of an RK-02
1. Ease of field stripping
2. Metal construction
3. Modern styling (also comes with a scope mount
4. Larger battery space
5. Price
6. Spare parts from the body to the gearbox are available
7. Realistic look (dahil cguro VFC clone)

Advantages of a Marui
1. Accuracy mas accurate talaga marui
2. Mas mataas mag bigay ng FPS ang marui
3. Marui is a Standard Halos lahat ng after market parts naka patern sa marui

Mga REkLamo
1.) The lock of my folding Stock is KAPUT! (hindi ko alam bakit basta naputol na lang.)
2.) loose thread ka agad yung flashhider adaptor (kabitan ng flashhider)
3.) Only an CA AK 74 mag will fit an RK-02 without alteration.

Summary
Its a Modern AK-74 Variant, Its neutral kaya kahit modern yung porma nyo nakasabay sya. If your also looking for a cheap zombie killer this is your choice. Also sa mga mahilig sa Sulit eto na yun. konti lang plastic parts nung gun puro metal na.
And syempre dito sa Forum natin AK ang sikat ang bida at ang mahal na Patron!!!

7mm bushing and keep the rest stock

Uhm,guys here at Slovakia were having some problems with putting the 7mm bushings into RK02,the holes in mechbox were just too small to take them. They finally done it..but i dont remeber how.

What about you? No problems with that ? Thank you.

Wow,pretty good. Im planning to buy RK03 and make reliable and accurate gun from it with this setup :

Systema Shims set
Classic Army 7mm set of bushings
Guarder SP100 Spring
Guarder Hop Up rubber

Is this a good setup ?
Will it run well ?
What else do you recommend me to replace and why ?
How much FPS will i get from SP100 in this gun ?

Thank you !

komrad,

You can dremel the hole to smoothen the side just enough that the bushing fits. lets say you overdo it you can always put a drop of mighty bond to glue the bushing in place. smile.gif smile.gif

Regards to your plan setup whats your target FPS rating? usually if our target is only 430 to 450fps. We just use the stock spring and replace the plastic bushing to metal and seal the hop, & cylinder head. smile.gif

My target FPS is 350-370FPS.
But thats only because im afraid of the stock spring and its power.
I think that it may destroy stock internals really fast.
So thats why im thinking about SP100.
What do you think,is this gun ready to run with stock spring and my setup for a long time (1-2 years) ?
If yes,i will be happy because i save money for the spring and i will ahve a strooong gun for 1-2years. So what do you think ? biggrin.gif

hmmm not sure if the gears can last that long komrad. XYT gears' quality are sometimes doubtful. To be on the safe side its either you change the gears, or change the spring.

But it also depends on your gameplay. If you're not much of a gung-ho shooter, I think it can last a year without problems. wink.gif

komrad my3tus,

I believe and agree with komrad laughingstorm that the stock internal will hold its own. had a couple of RK03 done with just metal bushing been replaced. but then again with China quality we never know. smile.gif

enjoy..

I am very happy with my RK-02 and want to drop stock Spring to a GUarder SP110 and replacing the barrel with a TB 6.04 and the hop up rubber with MAd bull which should bring it to about 395 fps with .20g .But I am thinking to shoot .25 or .28g ,I will be doing all my other AEG ' like my Cyma CM036,cm042s.
Any thoughts from you guy's?

komrad,

No need to replace the stock spring its more economical than buy sp110. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif and regards to heavier BB they are more match with higher Fps from 470 up, using them will slow down its speed but not to the extent that your opfor can dodge them.

i agree with komrad Hans... the stock spring would be enough for your target fps the only problem is that the stock spring tends to drop or loose it strength rather quickly

Hanep tlga stock gb nito. SInce Feb 1 naka sp160 na to....last week pinacheck up sya hehe kasi bumaba bigla fps pag buka ko ng gb hanep nilamog na nya yung sp160 lol parang sp130 na lang sa lambot hehe. weekly kasi nagagamit tong beng na to at lagi ubusan ng 1 bag off bb's yung may ari. yung gb di man lang natinag ni sign of any visible cracking or misalignment yet LOL ang TIBAY TLGA!!!! parang CA GB na din.

tapos yung stock motor nya hehe hiniram ko muna at nakalagay sa CA slr na naka sp150, stu gears hanep yakang yakang ng rk02 stock motor ok pa rof nasa 10-12 rps pa rin using a 10.8 volts nicad.

the gun is still very solid mas marami pa squeeks yung slr ko haha!

yup! rk02 ko weekly nilalaro since January 10.. biggrin.gif dumaan na ng high rof set-up 25rps+ @ 450fps hanggang ngayon no sign of wear and tear.... ang gearbox.

pero externally abused talaga... pero sinadya para sa weathered look hehehe
