I am also using the GP 1300mAh 9.6v stick battery config: 3magz only.
Dinagdagan ko din ang stock battery na 8.4v ng 3 intellect 1200mAh nihm battery para maging 12v.

nag extend ka wiring komrad? could you show us kung ano modify mo for it to fit?

fits very tight! but fits... i opted to buy a crane config li-ion kasi plano ko mag m4 e 2 birds with 1 battery hahaha

nope. its not BHE.. GE ang brand.. galing Hongkong.. comes in a sealed plastic wrapper.. parang feeling mo sanitized ang battery mo hahaha

nope komrad last event namin nagdala ang ballistics hobby shop ng sample batteries meron na stick type ang bremenhaus na may balancer.

i just don't know if its good.

also saw a rectangular 15C 11.1v 1800maH (iirc) Firefox with balancer plug sa Makati Square. kasing haba lang sya ng two-cell na stick, may nakagamit na ba nito?

one downside of the cyma aks74u is that is has a very small battery compartment... i'm not a fan of lipoly so i thought of what better way of going around the problem... am very big fan of nicads and nihm... so guys these are just my ideas from junks lying around.

Materials:
extra wires and connectors in your toolbox
your other batteries that wont fit inside the batt compartment
some electrical tapes


i noticed a small gap between the gearbox and the folding butt that could easily pass wires.. so you could have another battery connector here to serve as back up in case your stock battery runs dry...

here's is a finished product with a 9.6v Nimh 2000mah firefox battery wrapped in electrical tape

though its not a "purist" AK with all the wires showing up, you get the idea that this mod can help if you have low batt and just hook up another battery in a pouch or whatever ... and your still good to go in the game...

this battery wire extension can easily be hidden when you don't need it... but when you feel that there ain't no more juice, just plug and play... :cool:

ayos yan komrad ah! pero siguro kung ganyan ang gagawin ko, ipa-parallel ko na lang yung outer batt sa internal batt para tumaas yung capacity nung batt and indi na kailangan yung paglilipat nung saksakan ng batt. nice one komrad! ako din ayaw ko gumamit nglipoly kasi mejo natatakot ako sa explosion hehehe!

just a thought, indi ba komrad masyadong mabigat yung batt na in the long run magce-create ng wobbling sa skeleton stock?

fitting a chicklet type lipoly is no prob on my rk02.. no need to add wires.. kasyang kasya kailangan mo lang ayusin ng mabuti ang batt at wires sa loob..

1 batt goes under the rear sight and 2 batt on top of the gearbox.. between them are the wires..

i dont think so.. cause the battery i used here is firefox 9.6v 2000mah chacku type from my old m4a1.... it a very light battery...

my idea is just an option if you run out of battery... its a simple connection and can be hidden well if not used... just in case you need an external battery....
