Hi to all I am a small reseller of airsoft ages , and was speaking to my wholesaler here in South africa about the stock he brought in for me , I am very lucky with him as Airsoft is not his line of products but we buys on my behaf , so i have no cash lay out biggrin.gif

Any after a long chat to him Kenny told me this news :

Was that he went to JG and Cyma factory and the bad news there is no CYMA Galil , so what every you read on the internet is not true, second other bad news the days of Chinese aegs are coming to the end , the Chinese government is closing down, the smaller manufactures that made the aegs for Dboys , Cyma, JG etc........... Kenny saids that the Chinese government destroying the molds and if these company's make more they are closed down and the people are jailed. He was saying that this is a very big thing over in china ,as with in a year or so the airsoft guns will be very difficult to get, the knock on effect will be felt , companies that re brand like Cyberguns,echo1, utg etc with be having problems to still operate......... sad.gif Kenny is chinese and has just returned from mainland china.

Let's just hope that the Chinese gov't won't sweep ACM makers as they help their economy too. happy.gif

this has been going on for some time. my reading of these moves of the chicom government is that it will result in the evolutionary emergence of a few and more reliable ACM producers. the good side of that is that ACM products will have much improved quality.

China, overall, is concentrating on more value-added products that can compete in the higher end of the world market. the bottom line is they will not kill any commercial activity that brings a significant amount of dollars into the country.

and if you're wondering how i know, have been to china a few times, a couple of which were on official government visits. although have not been there recently, knowing china and how it will behave is a central part of my day job.

of course, the chinese are inscrutable like us flips so one can never really be sure. then there's also the factor of simple greed and power struggles so for all we know the crackdown on the small factories may simply be a result of someone not getting paid enough baksheesh. cool.gif

so keep your hats on, komrads, and try not to panic too much. let's hope the much vaunted chinese entrepreneurial spirit will win over the long term. filakairsoft/icon_t_lol.gif

p.s.: and please remember that Japan & Korea went through the same economic sieving process in their drive toward getting world market presence. sleep.gif

no cyma galil here and heard nothing such new news regarding that issue.

If the news is true, then we should see the bright side of it. ACM companies can come to the Philippines and bring their technology here. This will create more jobs and hopefully will drop AEG prices since shipping costs will be lessened.

Mainland China's loss should be our gain.

I was on skype to my supplier of BB's in China, and the news is very grave, Cyma factory has been close down , over 200 people working there were arrested, owner were put in jail as i have been informed . For now CYMA is on more as you know it , but the word is they will start up next year under a new name. I just hope so.
I was also told that other manufactures are still closed and some may not open again,
JG are manufacturing BB's now and you can order them , and the will start making airsoft guns in the next few days. There is a short supply on some products in HK and there is very little stock around. I hope this will be sorted out very soon. filakairsoft/angry2.gif
